My Company Values

At Vile & Vile, ensuring the comfort of clients is of the utmost importance. I understand that, sometimes, dealing with legal matters can be daunting. I therefore take time to go through and fully explain, in understandable terms, the provisions of documents that clients have asked me to prepare, or review before they are signed, and to answer questions as and when they arise. Often simple questions can be answered by Belinda or Elly.

As a sole practitioner firm, I am able to deal with clients’ matters promptly and urgent work can be prioritised as much as possible, depending on commitments to other clients at that time. Clients are treated as individuals, rather than just “a number”.

I am proud and thankful that the majority of my work comes from long-standing clients and referrals of their friends, relatives and neighbours. I am now acting for second and third generations of families.

My approach to the law

The approach I take to the law is simple:

  • I conduct my client’s work promptly.
  • I am cost-effective without taking shortcuts.
  • I advise my clients in terms they can understand.
  • Communication is a key principle and I provide a full explanation of work done as well as keeping clients informed during the course of their matter.
  • I am available for out-of-hours and out-of-office appointments.
  • I am always thorough, even if the cost is a little higher.

My clients know that when they make an appointment to see me, I (with almost 40 years’ experience in the legal profession) have a wealth of knowledge and skills to share. I am also aware that practical solutions are important to clients, and my ‘lateral thinking’ can also often result in an alternative solution to the one my client originally envisaged.

I also enjoy sharing my years of legal knowledge and experience (and practical, and sometimes amusing, anecdotes) with the wider community at group presentations e.g service Clubs, Probus Clubs etc.
